Obituary for Jo Ann Bolton
Jo Ann Bolton, 83, of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Magnolias of Chambersburg.
She was born Monday, November 11, 1935 in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, PA. Jo Ann was a daughter of the late John H. and Eunice R. Wood Lewis.
She was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church, Shippensburg. Jo Ann was a 1953 graduate of the former Shippensburg High School. She volunteered at the Chambersburg Hospital many years ago.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick E. Bolton who passed away December 5, 2007. One brother, John E. Lewis and one sister, Judith Nason are also deceased.
She is survived by one daughter, Sheri L. Anderson, two sons, Stephen E. Bolton and his wife Jodi of Chambersburg and Scott C. Bolton of Shippensburg, five grandchildren, Kristopher M. Anderson, Sean W. Bolton, Katy J. Murr, Ryan S. Bolton and Samantha B. Bolton.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Dana Blouch-Hanson. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation.
