Obituary for Charles L. Cummings
Charles L. Cummings, 72, of Chambersburg, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
He was born November 4, 1946 in Shippensburg, PA. Charles was a son of the late Raymond L. and Dorcas A. Unger Cummings.
He was a member of the AMVETS Post # 224, the Burt J. Asper American Legion Post # 46, the Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post # 1299, and the Landis-McCleaf Detachment Marine Corps League all in Chambersburg. Charles also was a member of the Minnequa Social Club in Shippensburg.
He is survived by two daughters, Tracey R. Beal and Sandy McMaster and her husband Tim all of Chambersburg, four grandchildren, Natasha Houp, Brandon Lehman, Kelsey McMaster and Kyler McMaster, three great-grandchildren, Brodie, Dean and Hayes, one brother, Dale Cummings, four sisters, June Roqueplot, Barbara Coons, Connie Hanley and Cindy Ferry, companion, Elizabeth Pharo and his ex-wife, Linda Cummings. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Sue Cummings, two brothers, Raymond Cummings, Jr. and Phillip Cummings, and four sisters, Joyce Miley, Shelby Nenninger, Juanita Shetler and Rita Fox.
